Training sessions for RiverCity Water Polo Club take place twice a week, providing ample opportunity for players to develop their skills and fitness.

Arrival: Players should aim to arrive early to participate in land-based exercises before the pool training begins.
Attendance: While we understand that schedules can be busy, we expect players to attend at least one training session per week. For optimal development, attending both sessions is highly encouraged.
Swim Fitness: In addition to water polo training, we recommend players incorporate swimming training into their weekly routine, ideally 2-3 times per week, to maintain peak swim fitness.
To support this, our Head Coach Dmitry runs a specialised swim fitness session once a week, focusing on enhancing the endurance and speed necessary for water polo. This session is an excellent opportunity for players to boost their performance in the water.
