Commitment to Think.Act.Play. at RiverCity
At RiverCity, we are fully committed to fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone involved in our sport. That’s why we take the Think.Act.Play. (T.A.P.) campaign very seriously. This national initiative is designed to promote the behaviors and attitudes that allow our players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters to thrive both in and out of the water.
What is Think.Act.Play.?
Think.Act.Play. (T.A.P.) is a campaign that encourages all participants in water polo to uphold the highest standards of behavior. It is built around three core principles:
- Think Before You Speak: The words we use have power. At RiverCity, we encourage everyone to communicate positively and thoughtfully, creating an environment where all players can grow and succeed.
- Act with Respect: Respect is fundamental to our sport. This includes showing respect for yourself, your opponents, the rules and officials, and everyone else involved in water polo. By doing so, we ensure that our club remains inclusive and enjoyable for all.
- Play in the Spirit of the Game: We believe in playing with passion, fairness, and sportsmanship. At RiverCity, we take pride in the way we compete, always striving to embody the true spirit of water polo.
Why It Matters
Think.Act.Play. is more than just a campaign; it’s a commitment to maintaining the values and integrity of water polo. It helps ensure that everyone involved with the sport can enjoy a safe, fair, and positive experience. The principles of T.A.P. apply to every player, parent, coach, official, volunteer, and spectator within our community.
